43 Things

Yesterday I made my first step towards cooking more adventurously. I made a Tuna Tagliatelle, with Lemon and Rocket. It was from the Gennaro Contaldo cookbook and was very nice indeed.

Hazel and me bought the book to try new recipes and experiment with Italian cooking before our trip to Italy later this year.

A very successful first attempt, and will try some more soon.

The plants we have have lasted a week! We have a Cactus named Jack, and a Jewel Orchid named Olive.

Well today we made even more progress with them as we got some more plants to keep them company. First off, as a result of a trip to Ikea, Jack got some more cactus friends to go in his lovely new multipot tray. So he now lives with Karen, and Blender, and has a friend called Spike who will live on my desk in school.

Hazel got two more plants as well they are Flaming Kates and have been called Jude and Mal.

So its either progress or its just made the whole thing more challenging. We’ll have to wait and see.
